Her Favorite Boutique is a small, hand-picked women's boutique. Two people choose every piece — and if we wouldn't put it on one of our girls and shoot it, it doesn't make the rack.
What we actually do
Most online boutiques give you six hundred products and let you sort it out. That isn't curation, it's a warehouse with a search bar.
We buy in small numbers, in person, in the Los Angeles Fashion District. Sets first — matching pieces you can wear together or split up — then the tops, the bag that finishes it, and the jewelry that finishes that. If a piece isn't worth wearing, we don't stock it so we can pad the page.
Two cities, on purpose
Product lives in Los Angeles, where it's sourced, inspected and packed by hand. The brand, the site and the campaigns run out of Las Vegas. Between them we get the sourcing of one city and the nightlife of the other, which turns out to be a good way to pick clothes.
The sister brand
Her Favorite Hair Boutique came first — the hair they ask you about. It's a separate business with its own checkout, shipping and returns, run by the same family. When a look here is wearing hair from over there, we'll say so, and only when it's true.
Where we're at
Favorite No. 001 lands in December. It's small on purpose. We'd rather sell out of something good than have plenty of something fine.
